Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry

GDC Number: 177274

I work as a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry at Ringley Park Dental Practice in Reigate, Surrey. I also

work as a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry for the community dental services of King's College Hospital NHS

Foundation Trust. In addition to this I also work as a medico-legal expert witness and provide post-graduate teaching for

dental colleagues.

I qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2009. I was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011.

I have worked in a number of London hospitals to further my knowledge and experience in the fields of Paediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Following this I embarked upon a three year specialist training post in Paediatric Dentistry based at King’s College Hospital and the Royal Alex Children’s Hospital in Brighton. On completion of training I was awarded a Membership in Paediatric Dentistry of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. My particular interests include management of dental injuries in children, management of dental enamel defects including molar-incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH) and providing dental treatment for anxious children including inhalation sedation.

I also provide teaching for dentists and allied health professionals. In 2015 I was awarded an Honorary Lecturership at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I have also published extensively in scientific journals on a variety of topics related to Paediatric dentistry and conducted research which has been published in an internationally recognised journal.

I live in Surrey with my young daughter and husband. I like to spend most of my free time walking in the Surrey and Sussex countryside with my family and keeping my young toddler entertained.
